KUCHING, Sept 21 (Bernama) -- A community outreach programme will be conducted in Pulau Bruit, the country''s second largest island after Pulau Langkawi, in December.

Minister in the Chief Minister''s Office Datin Fatimah Abdullah said today, the programme was aimed at serving about 6,000 people from 16 villages in the remote island.

The programme is initiated by the Kuching Specialist Hospital -- owned by KPJ Healthcare Berhad -- as part of it corporate social responsibility to serve the people.
