BMW Group Malaysia was the official car and Audemars Piguet the supporting sponsor, while Astro Awani (Malaysia) was the official broadcaster. BMW Group Malaysia managing director Geoffrey Briscoe said the motoring group was excited to come aboard as a sponsor this year. "We see a great synergy between BMW, a premium automobile brand, and the prestigious companies in The Edge BRC," he said in an earlier interview.
