KPJ Damansara Specialist Hospital is one of ten KPJ hospitals in Malaysia accredited to serve international health travelers. It holds all of the essential accreditations in Malaysia including the government’s Ministry of Health and crucial endorsements by the Malaysian Society for Quality in Health (MSQH) as well as the Association of Private Hospitals of Malaysia (APHM). The hospital has a diversified array of centers of excellence focusing on severe obesity, oncology, health promotion and wellness, neonatal care, sleep diagnosis, and cardiac medicine. To date, KPJ Damansara has treated more than 138,429 outpatients and 6,036 day outpatients.

Gold Certification for Excellence in Person-Centered Care represents the highest level of achievement in person-centered care, based on evidence and standards. Person-centered healthcare prioritizes the active participation of patients and their families throughout the healthcare process with an emphasis on partnership, compassion, transparency, inclusion, and quality.
KPJ Damansara Hospital is one of only 87 healthcare organizations worldwide to receive the Person-Centered Care Gold Certification since the program’s launch in 2007, and one of two in Malaysia.
