    Dr Nordiana Nordin acquired her medical degree at University of Malaya, followed by a further training in Internal Medicine with a Membership of Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom (MRCP, UK).


    Subsequengtly she completed her Clinical Fellowship in Geriatric Medicine with MOH and Royal Bournemouth Hospital, UK. There, she received formal training as a specialist registrar in Medicine for the Elderly subspecializing in Falls, Syncope, and Tilt Table Testing.


    She was formerly The Head of Geriatric Unit in Hospital Sungai Buloh (HsgB), where she pioneered the first local Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST). During the tenure, she also sits in the “Falls: Patient and Safety Goal” committee for which she developed the Falls Intervention Team (FIT) and initiated Geriatric Teleconference Visit (GTV) Clinic, a virtual clinic during the Covid-19 Pandemic 2020.


    She has presented in numerous National and International Scientific Conferences, and published papers on geriatric related topics. Dr Nordiana has also co-written in several books and guidelines; including The Position Statement in Delirium (2017) and Falls Guidline for Hospitalised Older Adults in the Ministry of Health Malaysia (2019), and Guidelines for the Prevention of Influenza in Older Persons (2022).


    Currently, she is practicing in KPJ Damansara Specialist Hospital as Consultant Geriatrician and Physician, and is also the Chairman of Fall Prevention Committee in KPJ Healthcare. In 2023, she has trained the in-house Rehabilitation Team (Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist) as well as nurses in running the CSST Services here.
