Clinical outcomes refer to various measures that healthcare institutes use to track the quality of clinical services provided at the institutions, e.g. percentage of infection after certain surgery etc. Sharing these data to the public is not new in developed countries such as United States, United Kingdom and Germany. Patients in these countries could access to data related the quality and performances of the hospitals and thus enable them to make appropriate choices. However, there is no such information available to the public in Malaysia.

Following the recent winning of the “Prime Minister Awards 2019” of the Anugerah Kecermelangan Industri (AKI), KPJ Ipoh Specialist Hospital is proud to take another lead again in allowing the public to access our clinical outcomes data.

These data were the collective product of the skills and talents of the doctors, other medical personnel, administration and associates of this hospital.

These were evidence-based data that serve as a useful information to our patients and even doctors from other healthcare centres, as to help them to make informed decisions regarding their treatment of choice.
