    In ensuring patient safety, KPJ Hospitals have embarked on many initiatives to improve the Quality of care to customers including the certification of the Malaysian Society for Quality in Health (MSQH), which is internationally linked to the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua).  KPJ hospitals have implemented the Integrated Management System (IMS) to guarantee high hospitals in the group have been accredited by SQH.  Meanwhile, 4 of these hospitals are accredited by the Joint Commission International (JCI).

    The International Patient Centre (IPC) of KPJ Johor Specialist Hospitals (KPJ JSH) is a one-stop service that opens doors to specialists' expertise, personalized patient care and advanced technology at our hospitals. Dedicated experienced patient care teams provide genuine care and comfort and attend to the needs of patients before, during, and, if necessary, after their visit. They will also be able to provide advice on the estimated cost of treatments and procedures at our hospitals.

    If a patient needs follow-up treatment, our experienced team of IPC professionals will help you find the information you need. They will be able to provide you with the best choices for clinical services, facilities and physicians at any of our hospitals. Appointments with the referred physician, or physician of your choice, can be made at a time that best suits your schedule.

    We would be delighted to assist you with your travel and visa requirements. Our team of pleasant and experienced service-oriented staff will be happy to assist in matters such as:
    • Reservation of air/ferry tickets
    • Visa arrangements
    • Hotel arrangements

    Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC)

    Effective 1st January 2024, all international patients are required to complete the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) before arrival except if you are:

    • Citizens of Singapore;
    • Diplomatic and Official Passport holders;
    • Malaysian Permanent Residents and Long Term-Pass holders;
    • General Certificate of Identity (GCI) Brunei Darussalam holders;
    • Brunei Malaysia Frequent Traveller Facility holders;
    • Thailand Border Pass holders; and
    • Indonesia Cross-Border Travel Document (PLB) holders.
