    Inpatient - Admission & Discharge

    Admission Counter

    Location: Ground floor, KPJ Kajang Specialist Hospital


    7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Monday – Friday). Closed on Sundays & Public Holidays. 

    *For inpatient admission on Sundays & public holidays, kindly proceed to the accident and emergency counter.

    *Asymptomatic patients must perform a Covid-19 self-saliva test ONE (1) day before admission for elective cases and on the same day for emergency cases before admission

    Accident & Emergency Registration Counter 

    Location: Ground floor, KPJ Kajang Specialist Hospital


    24 Hours (Monday – Sunday, and Public Holidays).


    After 7:00 PM (Monday – Saturday)

    24 Hours (Sunday & Public Holidays)

    Pharmacy:  Inpatient / Accident & Emergency (24/7)

    Location: Ground floor, KPJ Kajang Specialist Hospital


    ·         8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday – Friday)

    ·         8:30 AM – 12:30 PM (Saturday). Closed on Sundays & Public Holidays



    ·         Present your identity card/passport, contact information, medical card, and other legal documents (guarantee letters).

    ·         Parents or guardian identification card is required for children under 12 years old’s registration.

    ·         Check and verify your details on the printed admission registration form. 


    ·         Get admitted a day before the scheduled surgery date. 

    ·         Sign a consent form before surgery. 

    ·         Parents or guardian signature is required for admission for children under 18 years old. 


    ·         Check-out time is at 12:00 PM

    ·         Additional room charges will incur for discharge from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM 

    ·         Discharge after 6:00 PM will be charged as a full-day stay room rate. 

    ·         Take-home medication will be given at the ward before checking out 

    ·         Follow-up appointment with a consultant will be made before your discharge. 


    ·         Amounts received more than the total bill will be refunded depending on the initial payment mode. 

    ·         Refunds made via credit cards will be settled within 14 working days and 7 days for telegraphic transfer.

    ·         For any cash refund greater than RM 500, payment should be made via telegraphic transfer except for credit card, by which the refund will be made via credit card.
