    Over the last decade, Malaysia has grown by leaps and bounds to become a medical tourism destination of high renown. KPJ group of hospitals have been receiving many health tourist patients from all over the world for various kind of treatments.


    In ensuring patient safety, KPJ Hospitals have embarked on many initiatives to improve the Quality of care to customers including the certification of the Malaysian Society for Quality in Health (MSQH), which is internationally linked to the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua).  KPJ hospitals have implemented the Integrated Management System (IMS) to guarantee high hospitals in the group have been accredited by SQH.     KLUANG, JOHOR, MALAYSIA

    KPJ Kluang Specialist Hospital (KPJ KluSH) is strategically located within Kluang, Johor – one of the historical districts in Johor, Malaysia.  Kluang was founded in 1915 as the administrative capital of Johor by the British.  The main railway line linking north to south Malaya was built passing through Kluang and this helped in its growth.  Roads were built to link Kluang to Johor Bahru towards the southeast, to Batu Pahat towards the southwest and to Mersing towards the northeast.

    Kluang is well known for its farms and outdoor recreation.  The town is surrounded by farming districts, some of which have established eco-resorts and tours.  Among the popular is Zenxin Organic Park, possibly the largest vegetable farm in Peninsular Malaysia.  Gunung Belumut and Gunung Lambak are popular with campers and jungle trekkers for outdoor activities.


    Kluang is also famous for its coffee, and this can be best experienced at Kluang RailCoffee at the Kluang Station.  Established in 1938, the coffee shop still retains an old feel.  It is best experienced during train arrival times when disembarking passengers provides an atmosphere of days gone by.

    Effective 1st January 2024, all international patients are required to complete the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) before arrival except if you are:

    • Citizens of Singapore;
    • Diplomatic and Official Passport holders;
    • Malaysian Permanent Residents and Long Term-Pass holders;
    • General Certificate of Identity (GCI) Brunei Darussalam holders;
    • Brunei Malaysia Frequent Traveller Facility holders;
    • Thailand Border Pass holders; and
    • Indonesia Cross-Border Travel Document (PLB) holders.
