Dr. Francis Lau passed his medical undergraduate, MBChB, at Aberdeen University, Scotland in 1994, and had his training in anaesthesiology at Aberdeen Royal Hospitals from 1995 till 1999. He was conferred as a fellow in anaesthesia in 1998 by the Royal College of Anaesthetist at London. He has been working as a Specialist in Anaesthesiology at Sarawak General Hospital from 1999 prior to his current appointment.
At Kuching Specialist Hospital, he provides anaesthesia for surgery, intensive care service, acute pain service, anaesthesia for day care surgery and labour epidural service
