Dr LAU Bik Kui is a Consultant Endocrinologist & Physician of the Department of Medicine in KPJKuching Specialist Hospital. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine (MD) at Universiti Sains Malaysia. He was awarded the Membership of Royal College Physician (MRCP) from the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, United Kingdom and subsequently underwent Endocrinology Fellowship Training under Ministry of Health, Malaysia.

He has been the co-investigator/ principal investigator for 10 Investigator Initiated Research (IIR) as well as Industrial Sponsored Research (ISR). He has co-presented over 10 research papers in local and international meetings. His main focus of interests includes diabetes mellitus, bone health & osteoporosis, male hypogonadism, pituitary/adrenal and thyroid disorders.
