ACCIDENT & EMERGENCY
An accident and emergency services is a medical treatment facility specializing in acute care of patients who present without prior appointment, either by their own means or by ambulance. Due to the unplanned nature of patient attendance, we provided initial treatment for a broad spectrum of illnesses and injuries and life threatening who need immediate attention.
Our services are open for 24 hours, 7 days a week and 365 days a year. As patients can present at any time and any complaint, a key part of the operation of an emergency services is the prioritization of cases based on clinical need which called TRIAGE.
Triage is normally the first stage our patient passed through, and consists of a brief assessment including vital signs and the assignment of a "chief complaint" (i.e. chest pain, abdominal pain, difficulty in breathing etc.)
The most seriously ill or injured patient will deal at our RESUSCITATION area which it's well-equipped.
