JOHOR BAHRU: 25 March 2023 | Monday  – KPJ Healthcare Berhad through five KPJ Specialist Hospitals in the Southern Region has submitted business zakat for the year 2023 amounting to RM1,110,000 to the Johor State Zakat and Fitrah Committee. The hospitals are KPJ Johor Specialist Hospital (RM260,000), KPJ Puteri Specialist Hospital (RM360,000), KPJ Pasir Gudang Specialist Hospital (RM330,000), KPJ Kluang Specialist Hospital (RM50,000) and KPJ Bandar Maharani Specialist Hospital (RM110,000).

The business zakat submission ceremony was held in conjunction with the ‘Majlis Berbuka Puasa Hospital Pakar KPJ Wilayah Selatan' at the ROCK CAFE XPARK, Iskandar Puteri, Johor; witnessed by Datuk Syed Mohamed Bin Syed Ibrahim, President and Chief Executive Officer of Johor Corporation (JCorp) and the esteemed Datin Zaidah Zakaria, Chairman of Mutiara Johor Corporation together with KPJ Healthcare Berhad top management.⁣

The event highlights KPJ Southern's commitment to fostering a strong sense of unity and collaboration across our various hospitals. This Iftar gathering served as a perfect opportunity to celebrate the spirit of Ramadan together as a whole team.
