    We aim to make your hospital visit as comfortable, safe and positive as possible.<br> Our team is committed to providing exceptional care, and ensuring your transition back home is well coordinated by our dedicated staff.

    KPJ Perlis outpatient specialist clinics are for patients who do not require emergency care and patients are stable with non acute healthcare problems, and illnesses.

    Appointment dates are given, but we use first come first serve basis during our daily operations.

    KPJ Perlis Day Care clinics are for pre selected (Elective List) cases. Mostly set by surgeons to do minor procedures, where patients can go back home on the same day.

    Every procedure and treatment option under day care has its checklist for patients, and this is well explained to every patients registered for day care procedure.

    Our 24 hour Accident and Emergency services provide round-the-clock outpatient services and care for minor as well as major illnesses, injuries and trauma. All our specialists are also available 24 hours a day and on call, to tend to patients in need.


    General Advice/Information

    1. You are advised to fast from midnight before the first day of your health screening appointment.
    2. No food or beverages are allowed during the fast with the exception of plain water.
    3. Kindly inform our staff during registration if you have any health problems such as chest pain, discomfort, tightness, or if you have undergone any procedure such as balloon angioplasty, stenting or bypass surgery.
    4. Please avoid bringing expensive valuables with you during the health screening.
    5. Please wear sports attire for the Stress Test procedure.

    Advice for Ladies

    1. It is advisable to book your appointment around day 10-14 of your menstrual cycle. This is about a week after your last day of menstruation (Unless advised by Consultant).
    2. If you are menstruating on the day of your appointment, please call up the PSWC to reschedule your appointment (Unless advised by Consultant).
    3. Kindly inform the receptionist during registration if you are pregnant or suspected to be pregnant as X-rays, bone scan, and mammogram are not recommended if you are pregnant (Unless advised by Consultant).
