KPJ Sabah's annual Parentcraft and Baby Shower Party
KOTA KINABALU: KPJ Sabah Specialist Hospital organized its first Parentcraft & Baby Shower Party with the theme “Towards an Enjoyable Pregnancy Journey” yesterday at the hospital’s Kinabalu Hall.
This is an annual event and it is being organized four times in a year. Twenty-six couples participated in the First Parentcraft & Baby Shower Party. The program among others included the baby shower whereby the expected mothers reveal the gender of their respective babies by blowing up the balloons. Inside the balloons contain small pieces of blue and pink colour papers.
Blue colour paper indicates baby boy whereas pink colour paper represents baby girl. The program also included talks by Dr. Norafidah Ahmad @KPJ Sabah Consultant Obstetrics & Gynaecology with the topic “Labour & Childbirth - What to expect”, Midwife team from KPJ Sabah on the topic “Baby Bath” as well as speakers from insurance, baby products, fitness centre, stem cell and wellness massage companies.
There were also lucky draw prizes, award for the Most Happening Parents to be, cake cutting and light refreshment plus a tour to the hospital’s labour room and maternity wards.
