    We aim to make your hospital visit as comfortable, safe and positive as possible.<br> Our team is committed to providing exceptional care, and ensuring your transition back home is well coordinated by our dedicated staff.

    For elective cases, appointments for admission are made during your visit to Consultant’s Clinic, you will be referred for Pre-Admission at GL Verification Unit at Level 1, Outpatient Block, KPJ Selangor.

    Operation Hours:
    Monday – Friday (8.30am-5.00pm)
    Saturday (8.30am-12.30pm)

    During the pre-admission process, you will be briefed by staff on admission process, guarantee letter, bed arrangement, estimated total hospitalization cost, deposit requirements, surgery arrangement and other matters.

    Admission after operation hours, during weekend & public holiday will be at Accident & Emergency services.

    Items to bring upon admission:

    1. Documentation :
      • Identity Card or Passport or Birth Certificate
      • Guarantee Letter & Medical Card (if any)
    2. Deposit For Cash Paying Patients
    Medical Case– RM4, 000
    Surgical Case– 100% estimation cost of operation.
    ICU– RM10, 000

    If the interim or current bill exceeds the deposit or GL limit, a top up reminder will be sent to the patient or next of kin.
    Two (2) guarantors are required for all personal admission. The guarantor must be financially secured and aged between 22-55 years old.
    KPJ Selangor Discharge Counter is available at every floor of hospital ward.

    After Operation Hours/Sunday/Public Holiday:
    Discharge Counter will be at Main Lobby, Ground Floor Inpatient Block

    You will be discharged upon your consultant’s advice.

    Your final bill will be processed as soon as we receive the discharge order from your consultant.

    For cash paying patients, your bill will be ready approximately 40 minutes from the discharge time.

    If you are under insurance, the entire bill and verification process may take a minimum of two hours depending on the confirmation from your insurers. You will be updated from time to time on the status of your bill.

    Check out time is 2.00pm. Discharges from 2.00pm – 5.00pm, an additional half day room charge will be incurred. Discharges after 5.00pm will be charged as an additional full day’s rate.

    Take Home Medication & Follow up Appointment
    Take home medication will be served in the ward to you upon discharge after bill settlement. Your follow up appointment with the consultant will be made prior to your discharge.

    Late Charges
    Generally the bill issued during discharge will be the final bill. However occasionally, late charges for items used on the day of discharge may not be included. Hence for this type of cases, the hospital will inform the patient the new outstanding balance if there is any.

    Amounts received in excess of the total bill will be refunded depending on the initial payment mode and amount. Refunds made via credit cards will be processed within 10 working days. Refunds amounting to more than RM500.00 will be done via cheque or telegraphic transfer (TT). Please be informed that refunds via cheque or telegraphic transfer (TT), an IC copy of the patient/ payee is required.

    Cash Refund Policy
    Please be informed that all refund excess deposit can only be reimbursed back to you during office hours from 8.30am to 5.00pm (Monday to Friday) and 8.30am to 12.30pm (Saturday). For patients discharged on weekends and public holiday, your refund will be processed on the next working day via bank transfer or cheque.

    Patient Accommodations

    KPJ Selangor is equipped with 174 beds. Our accommodations consists of different types of rooms, from Premier Suites to 4 Bedded Room (shared room).

    1. The accommodation at the Suites are inclusive of Personalised Butler Services & One Stop Admission Discharge Centre.
    2. For Day Case , only 1 meal is served.
    3. Meals served daily during hospitalization are beakfast, lunch, tea & dinner.
    4. All rooms are fully airconditioned with attached bathroom & TV

    Inpatient Meal Services

    1. Local & Western Halal Cuisines are available and food preparation is supervised by clinical dietitian.
    2. Ala-carte menu also available and you may choose in menu list provided at each room.

    During your stay with us, it is advisable not to bring or keep valuables advised to send your valuables home with a family member. If that is not immediately possible, valuables may be kept temporarily in the hospital safe until someone can take them home for you. The hospital will not be responsible for any loss of valuables such as cash, jewelry, mobile phone, or damage to your personal items while on our premises

    Parking Rate

    Flat rate parking is RM6.00 per day and patient has to keep the receipt and get a parking slip from the nurse counter to redeem the flat rate.
