    Pre-Surgery Admission

    During Your Stay

Our nursing staff will orientate you to the ward and all other facilities available in your room. You will be given an identification wristband upon your admission. Please do not remove the band during your stay in the hospital. It helps to provide positive identification of you to all who serve you and is a safeguard for our protection.

    Belongings/Valuables

You are advised to keep only a few personal items such as toiletries, a bathrobe, slippers and sleepwear in your room. The hospital does not assume responsibility for valuables including medications. You are advised to send the valuable home as soon as possible. If that is not immediately possible, valuables may be kept temporarily in the hospital safe until someone can take them home for you.

    Nurse Call System

Each bedside is provided with a call button that allows you to call for attention at any time. These buttons are also located in the toilets and bathrooms. Should you need any assistance please push the call button.
