    Dr. Charlotte Jane Joseph is a Consultant General and Developmental Paediatrician based at KPJ Damansara Specialist Hospital. She also serves as a Sessional Consultant at KPJ Tawakkal Health Centre & Damansara Specialist 2 Passionate about child development, she has dedicated over 20 years to supporting children with developmental delays, autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, and complex neurodisabilities.



    She graduated with an MBBS from Kasturba Medical College, India, and completed her subspecialty training in Developmental Paediatrics through a national programme in Malaysia and the UK. Her training in Malaysia was based at Institute Paediatrics, Hospital Kuala Lumpur, and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre (HUKM), followed by a fellowship in Neurodevelopmental Paediatrics in the United Kingdom under the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH).



    Dr. Charlotte also holds a Diploma in Paediatric Neurodisability (UK), graduating with distinction and receiving the Sir David Hall Prize for Outstanding Student. She was further recognised with the Best Poster and Presentation Award at the Core Topics in Community Paediatrics Conference at King’s College, UK.



    She is a certified provider of internationally recognised assessment tools, including Autism Observation Schedule (ADOS), Griffiths III, PEERS®, and the 3DiR (Developmental, Individual-differences, Relationship-based) approach for autism. Her clinical interests include early identification, neurodevelopmental assessments, and family-centred interventions.



    Dr. Charlotte is well known for her compassionate, child-focused approach and actively contributes to research, ethics review, and advocacy efforts that support neurodivergent children and inclusive healthcare across Malaysia
