Dr. Aliza graduated from the University of Wales College of Medicine in 2003 and subsequently obtained her Master's degree in Internal Medicine from the University of Malaya in 2011. In 2017, she was awarded a Fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology from Malaysia's Ministry of Health. Dr. Aliza has more than 10 years of experience working as an Internal Medicine Physician and 6 years in Hepatology and Gastroenterology in MOH hospitals. With a personable character and effective communication skills, she is able to use her strong scientific background to help patients with a variety of issues. Dr. Aliza has a strong interest in liver diseases, particularly those involving viral hepatitis, liver cirrhosis, and liver cancer. She also has experience in teaching and was appointed as an adjunct lecturer at MAHSA University. She is an active co-investigator in multiple Industrial Sponsored Researches and has published journals in her area of expertise
