Associate Professor Dr. Rashdan Zaki Mohamed is a distinguished senior consultant paediatrician and paediatric endocrinologist. He currently serves as the Head of Specialty (Paediatrics) at KPJ Healthcare Berhad and holds key positions at Damansara Specialist Hospital 2, including Head of Department and member of the Medical Advisory Committee.

Dr. Rashdan's expertise lies in managing children with growth failure, thyroid diseases, pubertal disorders, obesity, diabetes, and other endocrine-related issues. As a gentle and caring paediatrician, he prioritizes the well-being of his young patients, focusing on growth, development, nutrition, and immunization.

Dr. Rashdan's academic journey began at Sekolah Menengah Sains Johor in Kluang, followed by his MBBS at the University of Malaya in 2004. He furthered his expertise with a Master's in Paediatrics (2013) and completed his Clinical Fellowship in Paediatric Endocrinology at University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) in 2015 and National University Hospital Singapore (NUHS) in 2019. 

Dr. Rashdan's research focuses on diagnosing Growth Hormone deficiency in children and addressing child obesity, with numerous publications in renowned medical journals. He is a passionate advocate for child health and safety, sharing his expertise on social media and authoring doktorbudak, a platform providing valuable insights on child healthcare for parents. His work has been featured in national dailies like Harian Metro, and he's appeared on Astro Awani.

As an active member of the Malaysian Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes Group, Dr. Rashdan contributes to the Subspecialty Subcommittee for Education under the Paediatric Endocrinology Medical Education Committee of the Malaysian Medical Council. His research interests include Metabolic Syndrome in Obese Children and Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD).
