Dato’ Dr Jaswant Singh is a resident Consultant Clinical Oncologist at KPJ Sabah Specialist Hospital. With a medical career spanning over four decades, he provides clinical oversight and management for various oncological conditions.

Dr Jaswant completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Kashmir, India, in 1979. He subsequently obtained his Diploma in Medical Radiotherapy (DMRT) from the Royal College of Radiologists in the United Kingdom in 1983. He is a registered specialist with the National Specialist Register (NSR) of Malaysia (No. 125576) and holds full registration with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC No. 25534).

Professional Experience & Interests

Since joining the specialist registry in 2009, Dr Jaswant has focused his clinical practice on the multimodal treatment of solid tumours and haematological malignancies. His areas of clinical focus include:
• Medical Oncology: Management of chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy protocols.
• Radiation Oncology: Application of radiotherapy for curative and palliative intent.
• Palliative Medicine: Holistic management of symptoms and quality of life for patients with advanced illness, supported by his Diploma in Palliative Medicine.
