Dr Mahavishnu Sahadevan is an accomplished Consultant Neurologist and the current Head of the Neurology Unit at Putrajaya Hospital. He brings extensive expertise in autoimmune neurology, neuroimmunology, stroke medicine, and complex neurological diagnostics.

He underwent advanced subspecialty training in Autoimmune Neurology at the prestigious Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences, University of Oxford, where he completed his fellowship in 2023. His work focuses on precision-based neurological care, complex immune-mediated disorders, and integrating the latest evidence-based therapies into clinical practice.

Dr Mahavishnu has authored multiple professional books and clinical monographs, including works on Myasthenia Gravis, Plasma Exchange (PLEX), and Intravenous Immunoglobulin (IVIG)—resources used widely by trainees and clinicians in Malaysia.

He now offers his expertise through sessional specialist clinics at KPJ Damansara, providing comprehensive evaluation and management for a wide range of neurological disorders, with particular focus on autoimmune conditions, neuromuscular diseases, stroke, seizures, and headache disorders.
